This commissioned work for the Western Australian Primary Schools' Massed Choir Festival tells the true story of Grace Bussell, a young Australian hero who with Sam Isaacs, an indigenous stockman, saved lives in a shipwreck off the WA coast in 1876. Originally written for SA and piano, this SSA version has come about as recently directors of more mature choirs have made requests for a slightly fuller version.
