Commissioned by the Catholic Education Office Sandhurst for the Jubilee year of 2016 in association with a3 - Australian Arts Alive, now called ASPA Education. This was inspired by Pope Francis' symbolic launching of the Jubilee year for 2016. His year long push for a global Catholic church of mercy and forgiveness was symbolised by opening the holy door at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City and calling for a church that always puts mercy before judgement. The piece opens with a chorale tune which develops into a rousing gospel style piece. Drum and bass parts are available through the website.
