Commissioned for the Western Australian Primary Schools' Massed Choir Festival 2014, this original Australian choral work tells the tale of Robin Miller. She was a courageous Australian woman who flew to all parts of regional Western Australia, often alone, and amongst other things administered over 30,000 doses of the polio vaccine sabin. She put drops of this vaccine on sugar cubes to give to young Australians, and because she flew into the outback regions where they lived, was nicknamed the "Sugarbird Lady". This is an uplifting, energetic piece which was first performed in 2014 in Perth, Western Australia. Amongst those present was Robin Miller's sister.
