JUNE 2020 UPDATE

Hi everyone. I hope your situation is safe and that you have been able to stay healthy. I have just added a new lullabye to my unison scores - Big Yellow Moon, with words by Dinny O'Brien and music by myself. I've been remiss in not adding a piece about lasting friendships I wrote back a number of years ago for the Western Australian Primary Schools Massed Choir Festival; it's called We've Still Got Me and You. I've also been busy with arranging versions of the well-known Neapolitan song Funiculi Funiculà for SSA, TB and TBB voicings.(I already had an SA version). It's a fun arrangement that gives the opportunity for the choir and the conductor to indulge in a bit of drama. The conductor can decide on who sings where in what order a few times and it becomes a bit of a power-play between choir and conductor.

You may have noticed some film of performances of pieces I've arranged or composed. I love seeing and hearing interpretations of the work I do. It's always fascinated me how musicians bring their musical ideas, talents and experiences to a work that's been written! Thank you to those who perform my works-I really enjoy seeing what you come up with.
